Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion. Painting from life, or photographs if necessary, I love to bring out the personality of a someone "from heart to art." Painting outdoors in nature is exhilarating, a real joy and renewal of the soul. Painting the still life in the quiet solitude of my studio allows me to contemplate carefully the play of light across form, and subtle color relationships. Please contact me if you have a question!
